A very sad thing happened in Ogun State. A man, 41 years old, named Aliu Ibrahim, did something very wrong. He did bad things to his 12-year-old daughter. He shouldn’t have done this. It happened in Yewa-North, a place where many people live.
The man’s wife, her name is Egbebi Temitope, told the police about this. She is not living with him anymore because they had problems. Aliu lives in a place called Papa Olosun in Oja-Odan.
The wife found out because her daughter was not feeling well. She took her to the State Hospital in Ilaro. That’s when they found out what was going on. The mother was very upset and wanted to help her child.
A police officer, Omolola Odutola, said that Egbebi came to the police on a Thursday at 2:10 in the afternoon to tell them. She was very brave to speak up. She said that every time her daughter went to visit her dad for holidays, bad things happened.
Egbebi took a step to find out more when she saw her daughter’s health was not good. At the hospital, they learned that this had been happening for a long time, about two years every holiday.
The police officer said they arrested Aliu (the dad) and asked him questions. He told the police that he did these wrong actions. Now, the police are looking into everything. They want to make sure the man gets in trouble for what he did.
The police will take Aliu to another department so they can continue to study the case. They want to keep everyone safe and make sure the girl is okay.
