The Adamawa State Police command arrested a herbalist identified as Mutala Musa, for the death and mutilation of an 11 -year -old boy in the Kodomun village, the Local Government area of Demona.
SP Suleiman Yahaya Ngurje, Police Public Relations officer in a statement said the incident was reported to the Police in Demsa on April 13, 2025 by the Chief of the Aldea de Kodomun and an elegant aliphas, the mother of her victim.
“She informed that her son, Yangapwa David, 11, was taken to said herbalist to receive treatment, but unfortunately died while he was in his custody.”
According to her, arrangements were made to transmit the body of the body, during which the body was left in the herbal room.
Surprisingly, upon his return, he discovered that his son's left eye had been removed.
“Upon receiving the report, police agents quickly visited the scene and arrested the suspect.”
The Police Commissioner, Adamawa State Command, *CP Dankombo Morris assured the members of the public that the command will not leave stone without moving to ensure that justice is served.
The suspect remains in custody, since the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, has been detailed to carry out a discreet investigation.
