The police in Ogun State have caught a man named Lekan Ogunsanya. Lekan is 31 years old. He was caught for breaking and stealing air conditioners and cables in Isoso, a place in Sagamu Local Government Area.
The news was confirmed by DAILY POST on Friday.
The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, explained what happened. She said that Lekan was caught while taking apart air conditioners from two houses in the area.
Odutola said that the police came after a call for help from someone who saw what Lekan was doing.
She said, “Residents called the Sagamu Division on Thursday when they saw the suspect breaking into two houses and taking apart cables and air conditioners that were already set up.”
Odutola also mentioned that a person walking by noticed Lekan’s suspicious activity and told others about it, which helped in catching him.
All the stolen items were taken back as evidence.
