Officers of the Adamawa State Police Command arrested three persons for alleged possession of illegal substances.
The state command stated on Friday that as part of its ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes, it acted on credible information on Wednesday, December 18, and carried out a raid on a criminal hideout in Malabu, a community in the Fufore local government area.
“During the operation, three suspects were arrested and substances suspected to be Indian hemp and hard drugs, among others, were recovered from them,” the command said in a press release.
The statement, signed by the state police public relations officer, Suleiman Nguroje, identified the suspects as Shafiu Musa, Idris Mohammed and Bashiru Nasiru.
He assured the public that the Adamawa State Police Command remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the security of the state.
