The Nigerian police have caught 14 people for breaking parts of a big electric tower in Rivers and Bayelsa. These parts help give people electricity.
These people were hard to find for many months, but the police got smart tips that helped them catch these folks in Rivers. Yay for teamwork and good tips!
Gunn Emonena, who talks for the police in a special area called Zone 16 in Yenagoa, shared this news on Monday.
Gunn said they caught these people after getting a message from a police boss in Yenagoa because a power leader named Kharin Komuko from Bayelsa asked for help.
In his message, Gunn said smart policemen found the suspects in Rivers because they knew exactly where they would be. Smart tips again!
When the police checked what the suspects were doing, they found some important things like thick cables, an electrical insulator, and many other electric parts.
The police also found tools like wheel spanners, cutting blades, long bolts, tall poles, and copper. That’s a lot of stuff!
The police are now telling everyone to watch out for their things and make sure everything stays safe where they live. We should all help look after our areas!
