As the time for the State Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna ends this Thursday, the party says it has done a lot, like winning the 2019 Presidential Elections in the state.
The party shared this news during a goodbye session for the State Working Committee (SWC) in Kaduna State on Tuesday.
In a statement by Alberah Katoh, the Party’s Publicity Secretary, the Kaduna State PDP said it gave the most votes in the whole country to the party’s Presidential Candidate. They got over 700,000 votes in 2019 and over 500,000 votes in 2023.
The statement also said that PDP won all 3 Senatorial Seats in Kaduna State and 10 out of 16 Seats in the House of Representatives.
“The PDP won 14 out of 32 seats in the Kaduna State House of Assembly. The party also won 5 Council Chairmen seats and 123 Councillorship Seats. We have the youngest member of our party’s National Working Committee, Prince Muhammed Suleiman Kadade, who is the National Youth Leader. He is just 25 years old,” they said.
The statement added that the party handled its own issues well and allowed everyone to join and compete in the elections.
