The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has said they will not change the date for local government elections. The party’s State Working Committee (SWC) shared this information.
On Friday, the PDP State Spokesperson, Abraham Alberah Catoh, said any changes to the election timetable will be made public. But for now, everything stays as planned.
He asked all party members and fans to behave well during and after the elections for councilors and chairpersons. These elections start on Saturday, August 17, 2024, with councilor elections happening at different ward offices.
He also mentioned that all rules in the party’s constitution and the 2024 election guidelines will be followed strictly.
