The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that Mr. Itodo Ubolo is no longer a member in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Hon Isah Alhassan, the party chairman in Ofu Local Government, made this announcement on Sunday. He said this on behalf of ward chairmen and other important people in the party. According to him, Ubolo is not a member anymore.

Alhassan said Ubolo did things that hurt the party before the governorship election on November 11, 2023, in Kogi State. He pointed out that Ubolo worked alone for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) out of personal interest.

He advised Ubolo to stop pretending to be a PDP member to gain attention before the upcoming PDP Congress in Kogi State.

Alhassan said, “You have never stayed with one political party for long. You have changed to four different parties in just four months.”

He added, “Don’t return with your friends to disrupt the peace we have in Ofu PDP since you left to join the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Accord Party, APC, and SDP in just four months.”

Alhassan mentioned, “Just because the Court of Appeal confirmed Governor Usman Ododo as the winner of the November 11 governorship election, you have now switched from SDP, where you were the Director General of logistics and finance, to start organizing PDP meetings at your hotel.”

He also added, “You (Itodo Ubolo) and your friends are trying to disturb our party’s Congress by making some of your members buy nomination forms to contest for different positions across Kogi East.”

Finally, he said, “I, Hon Isah Alhassan, the Divisional Chairman of Ofu Local Government, along with the Local Government Executives of our great party, PDP, reject your plan.”
