PDP Denies Rumors of Boycotting Council Elections in Kaduna

Must Read

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State wants everyone to know something important. Some people are saying that PDP members should not go to the council elections happening today in 23 areas of the state. But this is not true!

The leader of PDP in the state, Edward Masha, talked to some journalists in a place called Kafanchan. He said that no one from his team asked people to stay away from voting. So, he wants to make sure everyone understands that they should still go and vote.

Edward explained what’s happening at the election office in Kaduna. The PDP helpers there were looking at some special papers needed for the election. They noticed something very important was missing: the papers that show the election results. This is not normal and it isn’t fair.

Edward also shared that a few weeks ago, he warned everyone. He said that the people in charge, the All Progressives Congress (APC), might try to change the rules for counting votes. This could make the election unfair.

Edward wants the PDP to keep pushing to make sure everything needed for a fair election is there. He does not want any tricks or unfairness!

He is worried that the leaders now are trying to cheat, which is bad for the way voting should work in their home.

Edward asks every person who supports the PDP to go out and vote today. Voting is important! And while doing this, everyone should stay peaceful and happy in all parts of the state.
