PDP Crisis: North-Central Set to Produce Next National Chairman, Says Former Spokesperson

Must Read

A leader in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, said that the North-Central region should choose the next National Chairman for the party.

Kola explained that there is an agreement already in place that gives the North-Central this position.

He talked about this over the weekend in Abuja while meeting with young people from the North-Central region who support the PDP.

Kola said, “Don’t listen to some party members who make up their own rules. Follow the official rules in the PDP Constitution (2017 as Amended). It is the most important set of rules for the PDP.”

He added, “The North-Central should pick the next leader after Senator Ayu, not any other region. Anyone trying to ignore Section 47 (6) of the PDP Constitution is not helping our party.”
