PDP Conflict: Damagum’s Group Sheds Light on Internal Dispute

Must Read

The People’s Democratic Party, or PDP, is having big problems right now. Let’s make it easy to understand what’s going on.

The PDP has split into two groups. These groups are arguing a lot, and they have even started suspending some of their leaders. This means they are stopping them from working for a while. It’s kind of like if a teacher sends a student to time-out for misbehaving.

Ibrahim Abdullahi Manga, who speaks for the party, talked to reporters in Abuja. He asked the PDP leaders to be careful and not start fights. He said the mean words and actions are hurting the party and that they need to stop.

He explained that the PDP needs to stick together and follow the party rules. For now, two important people, Debo Ologunagba and Kamaldeen Ajibade, are not doing their jobs. The party wants to find out if these two did something wrong. To do this, they created a special team to investigate.

Manga reminded everyone that these two people have been involved in other suspensions before. He wants them to trust the investigation process rather than causing more trouble in the party.

The PDP is a big opposition party in Nigeria. This means they disagree with the group that is running the government right now. Many people in Nigeria are counting on the PDP to make things better. Manga wants everyone in the party to act sensibly. If they fight among themselves, it might hurt their chance to help people.

There have been some misunderstandings about what is happening. Manga wants the media to tell the truth so that everyone can understand the real story. He also wants people to know he’s acting as the publicity secretary because the regular one is not available right now.

He is upset that some leaders are spreading wrong information, even though the rules clearly show that this is allowed. They should help clear things up, but instead, they are confusing everyone. It’s like when someone says something wrong on TV and confuses the audience.

If things get worse, they might even need help from security officers to keep everything in line and follow the law. Manga is asking everyone to work together, hoping they can solve their issues in a friendly way.

Until then, he wants all the PDP members to stay strong and continue supporting their leaders. He hopes they will soon find a way to fix the issues and get back on track.
