Osun PDP Cautions Ganduje Against Disrupting the Southwest

Must Read

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has something important to say. They are telling Mr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the boss of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to be careful when trying to make his party friends happy.

The PDP in Osun also wants Ganduje to learn about the Southwest’s political past. This way, he will know better before talking about the areas like this again in the future.

This message was shared in a statement by Mr. Sunday Bisi, who leads the PDP in Osun, and it happened on Monday.

Ganduje made a big claim at a political meeting in Ondo State. He said his party, the APC, would do whatever they could to win over the entire Southwest.

The PDP told Ganduje to stop saying things that might upset people, as it could cause big problems in the country. They made it clear that the people of Osun will choose their leader during the 2026 election.

The Osun PDP leader said it’s not right for Ganduje, who didn’t help his own state as governor, to say such bold things about the Southwest. This is seen as foolish and reckless behavior.

He described Ganduje’s words as a dangerous idea, which could cause unnecessary political fights in the Southwest. The nation is currently dealing with various ethnic and money problems.

“President is already trying hard to fix our country’s money issues. Ganduje should be careful not to make things worse by thinking about election tricks, especially in the Southwest, as it is like touching a wild snake’s tail.”

“If Ganduje couldn’t create chaos in Kano, where people had enough of the APC due to his poor time as governor, he should expect the same reactions in other areas where APC has not satisfied the voters,” he said.

“In Osun, we have heard careless talks like this before, especially in the 2022 governor election, when Ganduje’s party tried to stir trouble in the election process, but it didn’t succeed,” he added.

“People in Osun are smart and made their point clear by not choosing the APC candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, back then. The same outcome is likely for APC in future elections in Osun State,” the letter ended by saying.
