The leadership of the Owo Reform Initiative (ORI) has acclaimed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa from the State of Ondo to put the State on the world map of socio -economic, political, commercial and infrastructure development.
The group that approved a vote of confidence in the governor also praised him for his firm dedication to the progress of infrastructure, economic and socio -political.
The group also declared its support for the State Finance Commissioner, Mrs. omowunmi Isaac for their fiscal prudence, responsibility and solid economic administration that have positively impacted the financial trajectory of the State.
This was contained in a statement signed by the boss (Dr.) Alex Ajipe, Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi (majority leader), Hon. Renike Witherspoon, Hon. Tunde Owadimibola, Hon. Samuel Balogun (President, Local Government of Owo), Excmo. Tope Omolayo (elected president, Owo LGA), Mr. Kunle Lawal Odide and Pastor Olugbenga Olumolawa.
The group warned the political saboteators and the suppliers of falsehood against causing political chaos in the State by propagating unfounded accusations and divisive rhetorical.
The Ori statement declared that: “The leadership issues a severe and final warning to the desperate politicians, the travesura teachers and the self -denominated guard dogs who have taken undue freedoms when propagating unfounded accusations and a divisive rhetoric.
“If they persist in their treacherous efforts, they will meet their political waterlous as the forces of truth and progress will invariably destroy their disastrous machinations.”
By reaffirming its support for good governance, the group said: “We reiterate our firm commitment to Owo's progress, the state of Ondo and the greatest democratic cause that guarantees that governance remains a vehicle for development instead of a platform For youth theater and beggar propaganda.
“The leadership of the Owo Reform initiative will not remain liabilities, while political mercenaries try to derail the path of progress defended by this administration.”
While condemning the attack without foundation to the governor and his administration, he declared that “the leadership of the OWO reform initiative unequivocally denounces the malicious and insidious propaganda aimed at belittling the governor and the honorable commissioner for finance.
“These unjustified and politically orchestrated assaults are manifestations of intellectual deficiency and brinkmanship of Brinkmanship desperate, calculated to incite disaffection and derail governance.
“It is absurd and logically evil defective to the honorable commissioner for finance on a meticulously scrutinized budget, discussed and ratified through due legislative and executive processes.
“The State Executive Council, the Chamber Appropriation Committee and the complete complement of the 26 honorable members of the Ondo State Assembly examined and diligently sanctioned the budget, which made any attack against the commissioner be an exercise of political illiteracy and deliberate misinformation.
“In addition, it is an obvious contradiction that the members of the opposition, specifically those within the Popular Democratic Party (PDP), which actively participated in the appropriation process and sanctioned the budget, are now instigating an unjustified controversy.
“It is equally disconcerting that the anger of these political agitators is addressed to the finance commissioner instead of the Budget and Economic Planning Commissioner, which is the real architect of the budget.
“This calculated direction underlines the lack of sincerity of its protest, revealing a desperate attempt to politicize a procedural issue.
“The OWO reform initiative categorically denounces this narrative of fun and reaffirms its unwavering support for the commitment of the administration to transparency, due process and the perfect execution of devastating governance of non -foundation distractions
“Owo remains a formidable political strength, distinguished by its unwavering commitment to democratic ideals and the advance of the State of Ondo.
“Therefore, we warn the detractors against other attempts to delegitimize our political relevance, since governance must be anchored in the imperatives of equity and development instead of the parish whims of a few discontent.”
