The governor election in Ondo State is happening on November 16. Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has some big news. He says that important leaders from a big group called the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, have joined his group, the All Progressives Congress, or APC.
Governor Aiyedatiwa thinks the PDP is falling apart, just like a broken umbrella. That’s why he wants all the people in Ondo State to vote for the APC and make the PDP lose.
Governor Aiyedatiwa is the APC’s choice for governor. He talked to lots of people in a place called Ese Odo LGA on Wednesday to tell them about this big news.
He said, “I want you to vote for us. This will help us win and make other groups like PDP go away. Many leaders from the PDP are now friends with us and are part of our group.”
“The big umbrella of the PDP is now broken. In the next election, I hope you vote for the APC,” he shared.
Before this, at a place called Igbobini, Governor Aiyedatiwa saw lots of people who support him. He thanked them for always being there for him and the APC.
He also said that because these friends and supporters stay true to him, the APC has become stronger in Ondo State.
