The Planter of the Apostolic Church of Christ, Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain throughout the world, the prophet Sam Olu Alo, has asked the Nigerians, both Muslims and Christians, who use their respective periods of fasting of the Ramadan and occur to pray for unity, peace and progress in the country.
In a statement made by your personal assistant, the Hon. Deji Ogunbusuyi, the prophet Olu Allo congratulated the faithful of both religions and urged them to embrace the spirit of love, kindness and generosity that characterizes this sacred period.
The renowned cleric emphasized that prayer and fasting are essential tools for spiritual growth and development, encouraging Nigerians to use this time to seek divine intervention to address the challenges of the country.
He said that collective prayer and fasting could foster a sense of unity and purpose among Nigerians, which finally leads to a more peaceful and prosperous nation.
The prophet Also urged the Nigerians to remember the less privileged and vulnerable members of society during this period, emphasizing the importance of participating in acts of charity and kindness, such as providing food and clothing to those in need.
As Muslims begin their fasting 30 days, the prophet Alo reminded them that Ramadan is a time for spiritual rejuvenation and self -reflection. He encouraged them to use this period to strengthen their faith, seek forgiveness and renew their commitment to Allah.
Similarly, as Christians observe the 40 -day Lent period, the prophet Alo asked them to use this time for introspection, self -reflection and spiritual growth. He encouraged them to pray for Nigeria, their leaders and their people, and to look for divine guidance and wisdom.
He asked the Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of the State of Ekiti and other Nigerian leaders during the sacred months of Ramadan and Lent.
He said that prayer became necessary to seek guidance and divine wisdom for leaders while navigating the country's challenges.
However, he asked the Nigerians to seek a divine intervention in the challenges of the country and to work towards a more peaceful and prosperous nation.
In another development, the man of God said that the decision of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to reduce foreign aid to most African countries, should not be completely negative.
The cleric said that while the measure might seem disturbing, Trump was acting in the best interest of his country.
“It may not be what we want to hear, but he is doing the best for his nation. African leaders should also be to do the best for their own people, ”he said.
Therefore, the prophet Olu-Lalo challenged African leaders to search in and develop self-sufficiency strategies, reducing the dependence of the continent of foreign assistance.
Reading from Psalm 25:10, he urged Christians to maintain God's commandments, emphasizing that divine mercy plays a crucial role in human success. “When people lose the mercy of God, failure becomes inevitable,” he said, warning that pride, deception and ingratitude often prevent people from receiving mercy.
