A woman called Yemisi Ogunlana, who is 28 years old, got into big trouble with the police in Ogun State. She was accused of hurting her husband, Idowu Adebowale, who is 31 years old, in a very serious way.
It happened in a place called Oko-Oba, Ogijo. Reports say Yemisi used something sharp to hurt her husband during a fight.
This information came out when the police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, told reporters on Monday.
The husband, Idowu, went to the police station in Ogijo at around 5:15 p.m. to report what happened to him.
He said his wife hurt him with a sharp object on October 15, at 4:30 in the morning, during a small argument.
Idowu even showed the police officers the injury, which was a bad cut near the tip of his private part.
Because the injury was very serious and he waited long to see a doctor, the police advised him to go to the hospital right away. They gave him a paper for medical attention.
Right now, Yemisi is with the police, and the case will be looked into more by the SCID in Abeokuta.
The spokesperson, Odutola, said this might have happened because of uncontrolled anger that resulted in hurting each other at home.
