Ogun Hunter Discovered Dead with Gunshot Wounds

In Ogun State, something sad happened. On Monday, the police said a hunter named Femi was found dead in the forest. He had been shot. This happened in an area called Ijebu Igbo.

Omolola Odutola is a person who talks for the police. She said Femi lived in a village called Ofemodoko. On Friday, Femi went into the forest with another hunter called Taoreed. People like to call Taoreed by his nickname, Kokoro. But after going into the forest, Femi didn’t come back home.

When Femi didn’t come back, his wife, Grace James, got worried. She told the leader of their village about it. The village leader then asked people to help find Femi. They all went looking, and they found Femi’s body in the forest. He had been shot.

Grace James went to the police on October 26, 2024. She told them what happened. The day before, on October 25, Femi left home at 5 PM to go hunting with Kokoro, but he never came back. The search team found his body the next day at 7 AM. His gun was lying next to him on the ground.

The police took Femi’s body to a hospital called the State Hospital in Ijebu-Ode. They are checking to see what exactly happened to him.

The police are trying to understand this case better. But they need to find Kokoro first. After Femi was found, Kokoro left the village. He even took his family with him.
