Must Read

The Ogun State Government stopped a teacher from working after a sad event happened at Obada Grammar School. The teacher punished a student named Monday Ariyo and now he is in trouble.

There was a report that said Ariyo got very sick and later died at a hospital in Abeokuta. He was asked to do 162 frog jumps and was hit by a teacher. The teacher brought a trash can to the classroom and said not to break it. Ariyo told the teacher that the trash can was bought with money from the students.

Ariyo felt very bad and passed out after the punishment. Because of what happened, the state government posted on social media that the teacher was caught and questioned. They also asked the school principal, Mrs. Tamrat Onaolapo, why she let this happen, as it’s against school rules.

The government sent a letter to Ariyo’s family expressing how sorry they were. They said they would make sure the family gets justice for their son.

The letter mentioned Ariyo was a special student. The principal has 24 hours to explain her actions. The government wishes the family strength in this sad time and hopes for Ariyo’s soul to be at peace.

The news also mentioned that Mr. Felix Agbesanwa, the leader of the teachers’ group, said Ariyo was not the only student punished. Everyone in the class was punished. Before the punishment, Ariyo said he had been in a bike accident earlier.
