The Lagos State Police Command says it has arrested a nurse over the alleged death of a 36-year-old woman, identified simply as Mrs Abiola.
Spokesman of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos.
Mr Hundeyin said the nurse was arrested after the Maroko Police Division received a report on Tuesday at around 11.40am from the driver of the deceased, whose name was not mentioned.
She explained that the driver reported that at about 3:00am on Monday, her boss who lives in Diamond Estate, Sangotedo-Lekki, asked her to take her to a clinic in Lekki Phase 1 for a BBL injection to enlarge her buttocks.
According to the image's creator, upon arrival, the clinic owner (name not mentioned) ordered a nurse to inject the now-deceased woman, who then fell unconscious and began gasping for breath.
“The victim was rescued and rushed to another hospital in Lekki Phase 1 for treatment where the doctor on duty confirmed her death. According to the report, a team of detectives visited the scene.
