Gbenga Ogunbote, the adviser for Shooting Stars, said winning against Heartland was a big relief.
Samuel Ayanrinde scored the only goal, helping the Oluyole Warriors get their first win of the season.
Ogunbote said the game was hard but he was happy his team could handle it.
“I think it will make the team feel much better,” said Ogunbote in an interview after the match.
“We didn’t win our first two games. So winning this game, no matter how, is a big relief for us.”
Next, Shooting Stars will play against Bendel Insurance in their fifth match of the season.
