Rangers and Enyimba played their delayed Nigeria Premier Football League matches on Wednesday, and both teams won.
Rangers, the current champions, won 1-0 against Ikorodu City in Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
The only goal of the game was scored by their captain, Chinemerem Ugwueze, in the 25th minute.
This was Rangers’ first win in the league this season.
Ikorodu City only has one point from three games so far.
Enyimba also won, beating Lobi Stars 2-1 in Aba.
Enyimba’s team, led by Yemi Olanrewaju, started strong with two early goals. Chinedu Ufere scored in the 13th minute, and Eze Ekwutoziem scored a penalty three minutes later.
Waheeb Adebayo scored for Lobi Stars nine minutes before halftime, but they couldn’t score again to tie the game.
