Ikorodu City’s head coach, Bright Ozebagbe, says the players are happy and excited for their big game against Plateau United.
Ozebagbe explains that the players are determined to win and get the most points possible in this match.
He admitted that it’s been tough getting the team ready because they haven’t been winning in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Ikorodu City will play against Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday (which is today).
Ozebagbe said, “It’s been difficult after not winning, but we’ve talked with each other and feel better,” during an interview with Ikorodu City media before the match.
“Football is about taking each game step by step. The boys are happy, we have rested well, and we are ready to play against Plateau United.”
“Both Ikorodu City and Plateau United are trying hard to win, so whoever wants it more will do better in the match.”
