NPFL: Ogunbote Concerned About Shooting Stars’ Scoring Issues

Must Read

Shooting Stars’ head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, says he will work on helping the team score more goals.

The Oluyole Warriors recently played a game against Enyimba at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, which ended with no goals from either side.

So far this season, the Ibadan team has only scored three goals in six matches.

Coach Ogunbote expressed his disappointment that his players didn’t make the most of their opportunities during the match with Enyimba, also known as the People’s Elephants.

He explained, “This is a tough problem for us. We are not taking enough risks. If we had been bolder in the game, we could have scored. But, it’s something we will keep working on,” he shared with the club’s fans.

The coach added, “We will keep practicing to help the players understand how we want to play.”
