NPFL: Kano Pillars Refute Claims of Owing Head Coach Abdullah Three Months’ Salary

Must Read

Kano Pillars say they are not late in paying their coach, Usman Abdallah. They have told everyone that it’s not true that they owe him three months’ pay.

A local radio station in Kano had said Abdallah hasn’t been paid for three months, which got people talking.

Now, Kano Pillars came out with a message to stop the rumors.

They explained, “For everyone to know, Usman Abdallah became the head coach of Kano Pillars on August 6, 2024. Since today is only the second week in October, he has only been working with us for two months,” the club explained.

“So, the radio station saying we didn’t pay him for three months is not true. They didn’t check their information well before talking.”

This Sunday, Kano Pillars will be playing against Akwa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League. It will be their sixth game of the season.
