NPFL: El-Kanemi Warriors Maintain Unbeaten Streak with Home Draw Against Kwara Utd

Must Read

El-Kanemi Warriors played a very exciting game and didn’t lose in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). They played against Kwara United and the match ended 1-1 in Maiduguri on Wednesday.

First, Kwara United got ahead when Emmanuel Ogbole scored a goal with a penalty kick in the 67th minute. Imagine a kid kicking a ball really hard into the net!

But then, El-Kanemi Warriors didn’t give up and worked hard. Right when the game was almost over, like when recess is almost done, Risilanu Ismaili scored a goal for El-Kanemi Warriors to make it a draw.

Because of this tie, El-Kanemi Warriors are now in fifth place on the league’s list. Kind of like getting an A in your class!

Next time, Aliyu Zubairu’s team will travel to play against Rivers United on Sunday. Can you imagine having an away trip to play with another school? That’s what they are going to do.

On the same day, Kwara United, who are now in 11th place, will get ready for a home game against the big champions, Rangers, in Ilorin. It’s like inviting a strong friend over to your house to play a game!
