Kabiru Dogo, who helps lead the Nasarawa United soccer team, felt sad after their game with Sunshine Stars didn’t go as planned.
They played on Sunday at a place called Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, and Sunshine Stars won the game with a score of 1-0.
A player named Opeoluwa Olufemi kicked the ball into the net and got the only goal for Sunshine Stars.
Even though his team lost, Dogo said, “Well done!” to Sunshine Stars for their victory.
He shared his feelings after the game: “We didn’t get the result we wanted, but I’m still happy with how hard our team tried. I say congratulations to Sunshine Stars for winning, even though it was a tough match!”
He also said, “We will get together again and focus on our next game at home against Kano Pillars next Sunday. I believe we will come back better and stronger. We are still working hard to reach our goals for this season.”
