Rangers’ goalkeeper, Lucky Abdullahi, says winning against Ikorodu City helps make up for losing in the CAF Champions League.
On Wednesday, the Flying Antelopes won 1-0 against Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
Chinemerem Ugwueze scored the only goal in the match.
Abdullahi is confident that the team, who have won the NPFL title eight times, can win it again.
“Winning against Ikorodu City is very important to us. We lost our big game, but we came to Lagos and fought hard to get all the points,” Abdullahi said after the match.
“I believe we can win the NPFL title again this season.”
Next, Rangers will play against Remo Stars in the NPFL.
