The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has warned employment applicants against fraudulent recruitment ads online, clarifying that no hiring process is not carrying out.
This was published as a shared statement in the official NNPC mango on Friday.
The company urged the Nigerians to ignore any unofficial work publication, emphasizing that all legitimate vacancies would be announced exclusively through their verified channels.
The statement says,
“The general public is informed that
Public Notice: Discharge of recruitment responsibility
Therefore, the general public is informed that NNPC Limited is not recruiting. Official recruitment ads will only be made through our website and verified social networks.

By reaffirming its position, the Nation Petroleum Company emphasized that its hiring process remains “transparent, based on merits and does not require external assistance.”
The company also warned that deceptive job ads falsely linked to NNPC Ltd. could be part of the scams designed to exploit unsuspecting applicants.
He advised the public to verify any information related to recruitment directly from its official platforms to avoid being victims of fraud.
“We advise the public to always verify the information directly from our official platforms to avoid being cheated by scammers,” the statement added.
In addition, the company urged people to inform any suspicious recruitment announcement to the relevant authorities, assuring the Nigerians who are still committed to defending the integrity of their hiring process and will officially announce any recruitment when the time comes.
