The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has urged the public to ignore the purported recruitment advertisement for Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) circulating on certain online platforms.

In a statement signed by its Corporate Communications Director, Olufemi O. Soneye, NNPC Ltd clarified that there was no separate procurement process for the Port Harcourt refinery apart from the one that began last year.

This process includes all NNPC Limited businesses, and candidates selected in the computer-based aptitude test will now proceed to the interview stage this week.

“The purported recruitment link circulating on various online platforms is the work of fraudsters trying to take advantage of the newly renovated Port Harcourt refinery to dupe the unsuspecting public with a fake recruitment advertisement. Therefore, we urge the public to be cautious and not fall for this scheme,” the company stated.
