NNPC addresses health challenges in the communities of Bayelsa

In a continuous effort to improve the health and well -being of the Nigerians, the joint company NNPC LTD/CRACST E & P (JV) has carried out its 2025 health scope program in eleven Keffes communities in Bayels State.

This initiative, part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) and in line with the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Law (PIA) 2021, underlines its commitment to address critical challenges of medical care in its host communities.

Keffes includes Koluama 1, Koluama 2, Ezetu 1, Ezetu 2, Foropa, Fish Town, Ekeni, Sangana, Opu Okumbiri, Okumbiribeleu and Oginibiri Communities. Thousands of residents benefited from the program, which took place from January 29 to February 1, 2025.

The NNPC/First E & P JV operates under two mining oil leases (OML), namely OML 83 (Anyala Field) and OML 85 (Madu Field), located in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Guinea, in front of the Bayelsa state coast.

As responsible corporate entity, NNPC LTD/First E & P JV remains dedicated to promoting sustainable community development and providing vital health services, ensuring a durable positive impact on the life of its host communities.
