On Tuesday, Zamfara United introduced their new coach, Abdullahi Adamu, for the upcoming 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The deal was made official when Coach Adamu signed the contract at the club’s headquarters in Gusau. During the event, he was also presented to the media.
Adamu is expected to use his past experiences from working with Katsina United and Wikki Tourists to help Zamfara United do well.
Adamu expressed his gratitude to the club’s management for selecting him as the team’s new leader.
“I thank Almighty Allah for this day. I must also thank the State Government and the stakeholders who made this appointment possible.
“I am very grateful for this opportunity,” he told the club’s media team.
“I will do my very best to achieve great things with the team. We have already started working hard and will continue to do so to reach the team’s goals for the season.
“Zamfara United is one of the well-known teams in Nigerian football. My team and I will work hard to bring back the team’s former glory.”
