Nigeria, Türkiye strengthens economic ties

The Minister of Finance and the Minister of the Economy of the Economy, Wale Edun, has conferred a high -level Turkish delegation in an attempt to strengthen economic cooperation.

The meeting took place on Friday when Edun received a delegation directed by the Turkish ambassador to Nigeria, Hidayet Bayraktai in his office in Abuja today.

The director, information and public relations said the meeting marked a crucial step to improve trade and investment between Nigeria and Turkey, and both nations expressed their commitment to promote a friendly business environment.

According to him, the discussion focused on exploring new opportunities for economic growth, and Edun reaffirmed the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with sustainable economic growth under the renewed agenda of hope.

The minister also assured the delegation of the continuous support of the government to foreign companies, providing strategic ideas to further strengthen economic ties.

The delegation chose Nigeria's economic progress and expressed its appreciation for the efforts of President Bola Tinubu to promote a friendly business environment.

They also explored new opportunities to improve trade and investment between the two nations.

Manga declared that with this meeting, Nigeria and Türkiye are about to bring their economic relationship with the next level, promoting growth, investment and prosperity for both nations.
