Nigeria takes advantage of internal resources to strengthen health systems – Minister

The Minister of Health and Social Welfare Coordinator, Prof. Muhammad Ali Patate, has declared that Nigeria is actively working to strengthen his health system by taking advantage of internal resources.

He affirmed that Nigeria had anticipated a decrease in world financial aid even before the Government of the Ugian has publicly announced the cuts to financing for agencies that support developing countries.

According to Professor Pate, “during the last 20 years or so, thanks to the generosity of the government of the United States and its people, many countries around the world have benefited from salvation interventions that have saved billions of lives HIV, TB AND MALARY.

“For Nigeria, we sincerely appreciate all the support received from the United States. It is reckless that any country thinks that it can completely trust another country for the health and lives of its population.

The direction taken by the United States government is understandable, given its current interests, and we respect it. Here in Nigeria, we are focused on rebuilding our health system, strengthening and increasing our internal resources and providing services to our citizens. Our goal is to cooperate with other countries in Africa and worldwide to improve the safety of biosecity and health while opening our economy to private sector investments.

The Coordination Minister also explained that Nigeria has approved the ratification of the Agency of the African Medicines Agency, which positions Nigeria as part of a larger African market for what is produced locally.

“There are also health investment opportunities in which Americans are welcome in which we have innovations, tools, systems and technologies that we can trade.
