NAFDAC Fights Fake Cosmetics

On Tuesday, a team from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) visited several supermarkets and markets in areas like Wuse and Garki.

NAFDAC shared this news on their official social media account. They posted pictures and videos of their activities.

During these visits, they found and took away many fake cosmetics. These fake products were worth a lot of money, around 37 million Naira.

This action is part of NAFDAC’s plan to keep fake and illegal cosmetics away from the markets in the nation’s capital.

NAFDAC said they will find out where these illegal products are coming from and will take strict actions against the people involved.

All the items they took will be destroyed to make sure everyone stays safe. This is according to the agency’s rules and regulations.
