N15m Bribery Scandal: Bobrisky Demands Transparent Investigation, Speaks Out Firmly

Must Read

Nigerian social media star Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, wants a fair look into claims that he tried to bribe officials with 15 million Naira.

DAILY POST reminds us that Martins Vincent Otse, also called VeryDarkMan, shared a recording of Bobrisky. In this audio, Bobrisky supposedly said he offered 15 million Naira to the EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) to make them drop money laundering charges and keep him out of jail in Lagos.

Bobrisky says the recording is not real; he called it fake.

Bobrisky also made a worrying social media post suggesting he thought about hurting himself. But later on Instagram, he said he’s not scared and wants an open investigation.

He wrote: “Please, everyone who is calling me to say I’m in danger and people are plotting against me should stop. I got scared because there was talk that EFCC would arrest me again and that I’d go to prison a second time.

“I am okay with a check into the claims, but not at the same EFCC office where I was held before. Any investigation should be open and fair with no pressure. I want it to be something the world can see.”

He repeated that the audio is fake, saying it could be changed and that he is ready to prove his point in court.

“Anyone can change any audio, add things, or make up parts and share it. Good luck to them. Whoever shared that audio should be responsible for it. I didn’t make the audio or share it, and that won’t change.

“I will face you all in court if you have any claims against me,” he said.
