Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, feels very sad and is thinking about suicide because people are saying bad things about him. They accuse him of offering a N15 million bribe.
A well-known activist and social media personality, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, shared a recording. In the recording, Bobrisky is heard offering N15 million to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The money was supposed to make the anti-corruption agency drop money laundering charges against Bobrisky. This was to help him avoid going to jail at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos State.
Bobrisky, however, said the recording is fake and not true at all.
But in a post on Facebook, Bobrisky said he is so upset that he is thinking about ending his life because people are trying to ruin him.
He wrote: “I have never in my life thought about suicide before, but now it’s coming to my mind. It’s because of what people are doing to me. They want to bring me down because they don’t like me.
“I don’t need sympathy from anyone. The only people I might want sympathy from are my late parents. But who will defend me now? Friends? Haters, you have won.”
