Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has expressed her admiration for the Islamic faith and her desire to understand it better.

He praised the dedication of Muslims and said it was something to emulate. Dikeh also expressed her wish to make a donation to a mosque.

The actress, who was the running mate of ADC Rivers State governorship candidate Tonte Ibraye in the 2023 general election but joined the ruling APC in October 2023, is likely open to another switch.

On Instagram, she wrote: “For the past four years, I wake up every day to the best sound. It is the sound of love and dedication, the beauty and love of God. God/Allah is love. I am deeply moved. My greatest prayer is to understand the Muslim faith. Their dedication and intentionality is worthy of emulation.”

Her post baffled fans because in a November 2022 interview with Chude Jideonwo, Tonto maintained that she had lost her initial calling to become a pastor.

Although he has worked in other professions, he says the door is open and he could still answer the call.

In 2017, shortly after her divorce from businessman Churchill Olakunle, the actress announced that she had been born again and declared herself “Radical for Jesus.”

Liz Da Silva, originally a Christian, converted to Islam after having a child with a Muslim man known as Olaoye, adopting the name Aishat.

Lizzy Anjorin also grew up in a Christian home, but embraced Islam in 2013, announcing her faith and traveling to Mecca for the Hajj. Their Muslim names are Sekinat and Aishat, while their daughter is Rufaidat.
