A man named Musa Abdulai has been caught by the police. People think he was helping bad people called bandits in Ekiti State by bringing them food where they hide.
Officer Adeleye Abiodun, who talks for the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, told this to DAILY POST. He said Musa is 35 years old and is from Sokoto State but lives in a place called Shasha in Akure, Ondo State. He was arrested on Monday, October 7, 2024, in Ise Ekiti at around 6:30 in the evening.
Musa was found by special officers of the lse-Ekiti Local Government Command in a big place with lots of trees called Oritan Forest Reserve. This was during their patrol duty, which is when they check an area to make sure everything is okay. Musa told them he was giving food to some people hiding in the forest who are believed to be Fulani/Bororo bandits.
The officers found a big bag with food inside when they arrested him. Musa has now been given to the local police station in Ise Ekiti so they can find out more about what he was doing.
