The Kwara State Police Command has captured a 46-year-old man who was trying to hurt a 10-year-old boy selling peppers in Ilorin, the state’s capital.

The police spokesperson, Ejire-Adeyemi Toun, said the man, Isiaka Adeniyi, was arrested on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in the Oke-Foma area of Ilorin West Local Government Area.

According to Toun, the man tricked the young boy (whose name we won’t mention) into a room by pretending to buy peppers from him.

Once inside, the man covered the boy’s face with cloth and tried to hurt him with a knife.
