LP Chairman and PDP Candidate Defect to APC Ahead of Kaduna Local Government Election

Must Read

In Kaduna, there’s a big event happening soon! It’s the local government election on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Before this day, two important people decided to be part of a new team. First, there’s Isah Chiroma, the leader of the Labour Party in the state. Then, there’s Abdullahi Imrah, who wanted to be a councillor for the PDP in Kafachan Ward B Jema’a LGA. They both decided to join another team called the All Progressives Congress, or APC.

Mr. Chiroma shared why he made this choice. He said he liked how Senator Uba Sani was helping everyone be part of the team. Also, he saw many new buildings and roads in Southern Kaduna, which made him believe that APC was doing great work. So, he decided to join them and make Kaduna better together.

Mr. Imrah also told everyone why he changed teams. Even though the election was just a few days away, he thought joining the APC and working with Peter Tanko was the best way to help the country grow and be happy.

The deputy governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, welcomed the new team members with open arms and said they made a smart choice to join a strong group. She promised that everyone would work together and help each other out.

Dr. Balarabe spoke more about the upcoming election. Seeing so many people supporting APC made her feel the APC was likely going to win. She asked everyone in APC to behave well and be nice during the election.

Mr. Peter Tanko Dogara, who wanted to be the big leader for Ja’mma Local Government Council, talked to some reporters. He promised the people in Jemaa that they would see good changes. He talked about fixing issues like security, health, and creating job opportunities, as these are really important for the community.
