Live performances of the top 10 finalists

On the latest episode of Nigerian Idol aired on Sunday night, host IK revealed the contestant who secured the final spot in the top 10. It was a dazzling display of talent as the contestants performed to leave an impression strong enough to get the votes they would need. move on to the next round.

The judges asked the contestants to perform songs that Generation Alpha (people born between 2010 and 2025) could appreciate. The stage was set, the lights dazzling and the performances spectacular.

6. David Garland – “Falling” by Harry Styles

David Garland captivated everyone with his performance of “Falling” by Harry Styles. 9ice declared it the best new performance of the night, and both Omawumi and Ric Hassani praised his vocal delivery and stage presence.

7. Maio – “Ojuelegba” by Wizkid

Maio surprised the judges by stepping out of his usual R&B comfort zone to perform “Ojuelegba” by Wizkid. 9ice, and Ric loved it and applauded her versatility.

10. Chioma – “It’s Never Enough” by Greatest Showman

Chioma closed the evening with a powerful performance of “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman. Omawumi jokingly commented that Chioma “took her to church,” while Ric and 9ice agreed it was a phenomenal way to close the show, with Ric labeling it her favorite of the night.
