The police in Kaduna State caught 21 people who tried to mess up the local government elections. This happened recently.
A police officer named ASP Mansir Hassan talked about this on Thursday in Kaduna. He shared what happened in a statement.
Hassan said these people, known as political troublemakers, wanted to stop people from traveling during the election. They also tried to mess up how election items were delivered by bothering the staff who were helping with the election.
Police officers from a team called Operation Fushin Kada were quick to stop these people’s plans. They didn’t let the troublemakers ruin the election process.
When the police caught these people, they found sharp tools and some bad drugs with them.
Now, these people are with the police and will face the law soon. The police are still looking into this to see if anyone else helped them do this bad thing.
