Land Dispute Tragedy: 9-Year-Old Perishes in Neighbor’s House Fire Set by Adamawa Resident

Must Read

A very sad event happened in Adamawa State. A nine-year-old child died, and four other children were badly hurt when their room caught fire.

These children belong to Daniel Cha’ama who lives in Mubi Local Government Area. Daniel was having a fight over land with a man named Nicodemus Ajaku who also lives nearby.

It is believed that Nicodemus started the fire, thinking he was burning Daniel’s room. But he made a big mistake and set the children’s room on fire instead.

People living close by said that Nicodemus wanted to hurt Daniel, but he got the wrong room and ended up hurting Daniel’s children. The fire killed nine-year-old Chimba Daniel and badly burned four other kids.

The children who got hurt are named Dida Daniel, Isaac Daniel, Nglacha Daniel, and Emmanuel Hyeldinga. They were burned very badly.

Reports say that Daniel and Nicodemus had been arguing over a piece of land. They even went to court two times to fight about it.

After starting the fire, Nicodemus ran away and nobody knows where he is now.

Poor little Chimba Daniel died while they were taking him to the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital in the state’s main city, Yola, because his burns were too serious.

Police Officer SP Suleiman Nguroje said the police will find out who did this and make sure he faces the law.

Nguroje also mentioned that the Commissioner of Police, CP Morris Dankwambo, has told his team to help the kids who are hurt and make sure they get the treatment they need.
