LaLiga: Pimienta Praises Iheanacho’s Impressive Sevilla Debut

Must Read

Sevilla’s coach, Javier Pimienta, was very happy with how Kelechi Iheanacho played, even though the team lost to Villarreal 2-1 on Friday night.

This match was Iheanacho’s first time playing for Sevilla.

He came on the field 13 minutes before the game ended, replacing Isaac Romero.

Iheanacho almost scored a goal near the end, but Villarreal’s goalkeeper, Diego Conde, stopped it.

“He (Iheanacho) didn’t have much time to play, so it was harder for him. But he moved really well during the tough part of the match and had a clear chance to score, but the goalkeeper blocked it,” Pimienta said to Futbal Fantasy.

Another player from the same country as Iheanacho, Chidera Ejuke, also played in the game.
