Lagos Police Spokesperson Criticizes Singer Ayo Maff for ‘Indecent’ Lyrics

Must Read

The police officer in charge of talking to the public in Lagos, named SP Benjamin Hundeyin, is not happy with a new singer named Ayo Maff. He thinks Ayo’s new song ‘Last Week’ has bad words and talks about bad things.

In the first part of the song, Ayo talks about using a strong drug from Canada and needing more by the end of the week.

SP Hundeyin saw a short video of the song on a social media site called X. He feels worried about what the song says.

He believes that if young people did not use drugs, many of them would not end up in jail.

SP Hundeyin says that using illegal drugs can lead to more crime.

He wrote, “The singer talks about doing these things on Mondays and Saturdays? Listen carefully.”

“Like the singer Asa said, there is trouble coming and nobody seems to care…”

“The truth is, half of the young people in jail today wouldn’t be there if they didn’t use drugs. Drugs lead to all kinds of bad things.”

He ended with, “Eni a wi fun…” which means “When we tell people…” in Yoruba, a language spoken in Nigeria.
