The closure of Cubana's Chief Priest restaurant was similar to that of a popular nightclub, Silk Club, located at 190 Awolowo Road in Ikoyi, which was shut down due to noise pollution in 2023.

PREMIUM TIMES reported that Mr Wahab said the nightclub was closed down by LASEPA officials after they conducted a night enforcement operation in the area.
