The rap star and the creator of the anxiety that Dechii welcomed Mother Monster to the stage, but first he took a moment to recognize how much the disease singer had influenced.

“And for the LGBTQ+community, you taught me courage, before the world was ready to listen. You have changed the world for better and your courage combines mine every day.”
Before leaving the stage, he encouraged artists who have been labeled as different to stay faithful to themselves.
“For each artist who is told that they are different, complicated and too much, please, they never change. The world does not need another copy that desperately needs their original.”
Gaga has long been one of the most open defenders of the LGBTQ+community. Throughout his Mayhem album campaign, he has repeatedly approached the demonization of transgender people.
In the February Grammys, after winning the best pop duo to die with a smile with Bruno Mars, he insisted that trans people are not “invisible” and “deserve love.”
Since then, he has expressed his anguish for the community that faces “violence” following the electoral victory of Donald Trump and his Executive Anti-Trans orders.
“What I would say in the first place is what trans people face in this world is completely unfair, incorrect, and there is this violence that takes place daily in their lives,” Gaga told Dj Zane Lowe earlier this month.
