Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin, Kwara State wants everyone to know that the girl found at a dump site is not one of their students.
This message comes from Femi Afolayan, the school’s Information Officer. He said this in response to what the state police said on Tuesday.
Femi Afolayan explained, “We heard that the Kwara State Police shared a news saying the girl was from our university. The police were told this by a suspect who might have used our school’s name to trick the girl into a bad situation.”
“We want to make it clear that no students from Al-Hikmah University organized any party as the suspect said. This is not true,” he added.
The school wants parents, guardians, and everyone in the university to know that all students are safe on their campus. Al-Hikmah University assures everyone that their students will be protected during their time at the school.
