Four people, including three helpers of the caretaker chairman of Kabba Bunu Local Government in Kogi State, Nigeria, have been set free from kidnappers.
Two weeks ago, the caretaker chairman, Zacchaeus Dare Michael, and his helpers were taken by kidnappers while on the Okene/Kabba road in Kogi State.
Luckily, the chairman was let go a few hours later because he was not feeling well.
The three helpers who were also set free are named Omonisaiye Andrew, Olorundare Ojo, and Sunday.
On Tuesday, the caretaker chairman, Michael, talked to DAILY POST. He thanked God that the kidnapped people were freed and mentioned that something meant to hurt him has now become a positive story.
He said, “I want to say a big thank you to the Kogi State Governor for acting quickly to help free the kidnapped people unharmed. I also thank the people of Kabba Bunu, Kogi State, and all of Nigeria for their prayers that helped with the release.”
He also praised the Nigerian Army, Police, Department of State Services, and local hunters for their bravery and courage in rescuing the kidnapped people.
