Kano: NSCDC Apprehends Fraudster for N1.2 Million Job Scam

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano caught a man who was tricking people into giving him money by promising fake jobs in Kano state government offices.

The NSCDC spokesperson, Ibrahim Abdullahi, explained that the man, named Mu’azu Mohammed Ibrahim, who is 32 years old and lives in Sagagi area of Kano, was caught after they watched him for many weeks.

People, mostly women, complained that the man tricked them and took about N1.2 million from them.

The man tricked his victims by pretending to be an important government worker who could get them jobs in government offices. But, this was not true.

The NSCDC said they have finished their investigation and will take the man to court with the help of their legal team.
